Halloween Cocktails
If you want to make yourself a treat while you’re handing out candy to the kiddos; these are some of my favorite Halloween Cocktails!
I had plans for today to do a cake. The ingredients included a dark red wine in a deep, dark chocolate cake. I had the layers in the freezer all ready and my plans to add a deep red component included red wine in a drizzle. How on earth did that end up becoming a compilation of Halloween Cocktails you ask?
I had a moment when it hit me; this Red Wine Chocolate Cake with Cranberries was coming together too beautifully to be relegated to a Halloween theme; that I’m ‘dying’ (bad Halloween humor?) to include some cranberries would move it into the realm of holiday, not Halloween and I’m good with that.
So what do I do for a cocktail this day before Halloween? How about a refresher course in some great Halloween Cocktails I’ve done in years past and a favorite I just made recently? Will that work? I love all of these cocktails so hope you find one to love too. I don’t know about you but I sort of need one to manage a night of a thousand kiddos!
Considering that I bemoan how much Halloween is not my favorite holiday I sure do make a lot of cocktails for it don’t I? Guess that’s what gets me through it. 🙂
Cheers!

I’m excited to see what cocktail recipes you share!
THANK YOU! I was desperate for a drink for a last minute party for tonight and I found your site. The Caramel Apple Cider is so perfect and thankfully so easy too; I already had everything I needed…whew!
I don’t have dry ice but I’m trying one of them anyhow, the Ghost in the Graveyard is spooky, dark, and a sweet ending. Just what I’ll need after a night of goblins!
I love this list; I have been making something new from it every year since it was first published; this year I am making the Blackberry Margarita…because I have that same glass from Williams Sonoma!
That cake sounds like I’d like to be in the window watching how you finished it off.
These Halloween cocktails look delicious but they’re also fun!
Well if you were watching through a window I would invite you in to help me! I’m thinking sugared cranberries might find their way to this one!
What a fun collection of drinks! Love the Corpse Reviver (that was my first “official” post!), but the other ones are new to me. Definitely dying to try all of them. 😉 Plus the cake, of course. Thanks!
Love it too but that combination of ingredients is a killer; I doubt too many my readers run out and buy Lillet and Absinthe to try one cocktail. They should but I do wonder…
The cake is being worked on now so of course the sun is on vacation. 🙂
All the cocktails look like they would go down smooth and easy but I’m leaning toward the caramel apple one…leaning heavy?
Enjoy the little kiddies tomorrow night. Looking forward to the cake being posted!
So funny…I was just thinking of you. Life is so hectic crazy some days and I miss catching up with my virtual buddies. I’m going to be a brand ambassador Canadian Maple Syrup; maybe I have you to thank for that? 🙂
